Switching to OmniDine
Moving away from OpenTable: what you could save
Work out what your booking platform costs a year, compare it with OmniDine, and plan a switch that doesn't lose a single booking.

Marketplace booking platforms usually charge in two ways: a monthly subscription, and a fee for each guest who books through their network. On a busy month, the cover fees can cost more than the subscription.
OmniDine doesn't run a marketplace and doesn't charge per cover. Bookings come through your own website, social profiles and QR codes, on the free Reservations plan or as part of Reservations + Till at £10 a month.

OpenTable no longer publishes UK prices. The calculator starts with its last public UK rate card (Core at £179 a month plus £2 per network cover, withdrawn in January 2025). Replace those figures with the ones on your own invoice.

How to switch without losing bookings
- 1
Export your guest list
Export guests from your current platform and import the CSV on OmniDine's Guests page, so regulars are recognised straight away.
- 2
Set up OmniDine alongside
Draw your floor plan, set your services and connect Stripe. Nothing goes live until you share the booking page.
- 3
Move future bookings across
Add existing future bookings to OmniDine so the floor plan shows the real picture.
- 4
Swap the links
Replace the booking button on your website, Instagram and Google Business Profile with your OmniDine link or embed.
- 5
Close the old diary
Stop taking new bookings on the old platform, honour the ones already there, then cancel at the end of your contract.

Reservations is free for one venue, with no card needed. Add the till for £10 a month when you're ready.
